Stress - The Cost of Keeping Stress

Most people are so used to their stress that it doesn't occur to them to do something about it. You have a choice. You can keep it or deal with it to lower it.
On a sheet of paper do the following
:

PICK A STRESSFUL AREA THEN FILL OUT SHEET (SAMPLE)
Costs of Keeping                                             Benefits of Dealing With It
worries                                                           lot less worries
angry feelings                                                 can do job better
trouble sleeping                                              sleep well
stomach problems                                           think clearer and faster
bursts of anger                                                at peace

EXERCISE
Take your most stressful area and list the costs and benefits.
Now go into peace self hypnosis.
My shoulders, arms and hands are at peace.
My chest and stomach are at peace.
My back is at peace.

Now take a few moments to read the costs and benefits which you have just filled out. Then reflect.

If you have time try another area.
