THE PRESENT - Recreate the normal situation. For example I'm at work ........ Next bring up the stress. See feel how strong it is and recreate stressful scenes in your mind. Perhaps there is a color or shape. Where is it coming from. Give it a number for how heavy it is. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
START NOW - See yourself starting down the path of letting go of your stress.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana;"&gt;Next strong self hypnosis&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;em&gt;My shoulders, arms and hands are strong.&lt;br /&gt;

Peace self hypnosis switches our focus from the stress and thoughts going on in our mind to our torso which is a solid part of our body. Asking the question "What's going on?" gives shape and form and reason to the stress. Asking "What can I do?" starts you looking for solutions and starts taking control of it. Second we will write down the question and keep on writing it down until an insight comes up. Then write the insight down and quickly reflect. Then start writing the question again.&lt;br /&gt;

The doctors keep talking about areas of the brain controlling this or that. They talk about genes and how powerful they are. They do not talk about the mind. It becomes to big for awareness and splits into the conscious and inner mind. The conscious containing critical thinking usually dominates. The inner mind sometimes called the subconscious comes into your awareness often when angry, daydreaming, sports etc.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" size="2"&gt;From the diagram above you can see which parts go into the inner mind. Take a moment to look closely and reflect on the role each one plays in your life. With all these parts how well does your mind operate now? Could there be a better way? This blog is about helping you develop a strong powerful mind which you can use to get the life you want. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;HOW IT THINKS: &lt;/strong&gt;The inner mind lacks critical thinking. This means it can not tell what is true or false. The inner mind can not tell what is true or false. It is made up of positive memories, emotions, habits etc built up over a lifetime. In a specific area if the ++++'s are stronger, they will send you strength, peace, confidence, answers, ideas, determination. If the -----'s are stronger they will bring doubts, tiredness, desires, confusion, I want..., anger, bad memories.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" size="2"&gt;Lets look at weight loss. If the positives are stronger you will be inspired to eat less and will want to exercise more. If you have a desire to eat sweets you will shrug it off easily. You will lose weight. If the negatives are stronger you may get repeated messages to eat a candy bar, to overeat at dinner and to skip your workout. You can still lose weight but it will be a constant struggle. What are these negatives and where did they come from? The inner mind can accept ideas, beliefs and suggestions that are false. Is it possible? This is important. Setting your goal too low can just set you up for defeat. If you have a lot of weight to lose you might want to set a 3/4 goal. My real goal is to have a 32 inch waist once again. But my goal now is to weigh under 200 pounds, my 3/4 goal. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;4. The conscious containing critical thinking usually dominates. The inner mind sometimes called the subconscious comes into your awareness often when angry, daydreaming, sports etc. This is the part that sends you desires to eat cookies and ice cream. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The inner mind lacks critical thinking. This means it can not tell what is true or false. Yes it can not tell what is true or false. It is made up of positive and negative memories, emotions, habits etc built up over a lifetime. In a specific area if the ++++'s are stronger they will send you strength, peace, confidence, answers, ideas, determination. If the ----'s are stronger they will bring doubts, tiredness, desires, "I want cookies", anger, bad memories. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" size="2"&gt;Lets look at weight loss. If the positives are stronger you will be inspired to eat less and will want to exercise more. If you have a desire to eat sweets you will shrug it off easily. You will lose weight. If the negatives are stronger you will get repeated messages to eat a candy bar, to overeat at dinner and to skip your workout. You can still lose weight but it will be a constant struggle. What are these negatives and where did they come from? Past failures, stress, anger, work, health issues and childhood experiences are common ones.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;STRATEGY&lt;br&gt;Hypnosis and self hypnosis brings your inner mind into your awareness. Hypnosis a lot. Self hypnosis a little. This allows us to add positives and remove negatives daily. More positives and less negatives. Once the positives become stronger your whole mind comes together to lose weight. The desires to eat junk or overeat are gone or greatly reduces. Losing weight becomes fun. We then need to get the positives stronger&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Everything in this program is designed add positives and remove negatives from the inner mind to make the positives the stronger so you lose weight. Maybe a very small amount is OK. Each person is different. Next lower the amount of food until you start losing weight at a healthy rate. This may take a few weeks. Doubts Creep In. &lt;i&gt;I can't do it! It's not going to happen. Something will come up to stop me. I haven't been able to do this after all these years of trying.&lt;/i&gt; Doubts bring you down. You can get inspired and motivated and then crash after the doubts set in. And they can come at the start grinding you to a halt. So the first step is to deal with these doubts.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;BIG CHANGE&lt;br&gt;Most goals or changes can be big. I weigh 125 pounds when you weigh 160 now. I get an A in Math when you have a C now. So we want to downsize our start position. Your goal is still 125 pounds but your focus might be I lose weight this week. Or I study hard for the next 2 hours. Keep the overall goal but focus on the little steps.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;CAN&lt;br&gt;Change &lt;i&gt;I weigh 125 pounds&lt;/i&gt; into &lt;i&gt;I can weigh 125 pounds&lt;/i&gt;. Once the doubts go away and you start believing go back to original wording. Let's talk to ourselves in the form of Rapping. Start by putting 2-3 suggestions, 1 statement and 2-3 anti-suggestions and say them to yourself like a Rapper. When you wake up. Perhaps before you eat. Before you study. Or start work. Anytime. Anywhere. Each sentence is made to influence your inner mind. &lt;br&gt;These suggestions, statements and anti-suggestions are worked out in the last few entries. So do those first. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;u&gt;Sample RAP Weight Loss&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br&gt;I lose weight. (use can until you believe)&lt;br&gt;I love losing weight.&lt;br&gt;I weigh under 135 pounds. &lt;br&gt;I eat less and exercise more. Notice the wording. Doing or not doing something equals some consequence.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Smoking fills my lungs with poisons.&lt;br&gt;Stalling making a sales call lowers my sales.&lt;br&gt;Skipping my study period can lower my grade.&lt;br&gt;Eating a box of donuts puts on weight.&lt;br&gt;Eating a second helping puts on weight.&lt;br&gt;Keeping stress can give me a headache.&lt;br&gt;Not finishing my workout makes it harder to lose weight.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Anti-suggestion are so powerful. You can say them out loud. You can write them down. You can say them to yourself. They are most powerful when you have a desire to smoke, stall, skip, eat, whatever. When you have a desire, a temptation say them. They will help greatly.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;EXERCISE&lt;br&gt;Write out 2 or 3 anti-suggestions for your goal.
